The site itself is our work. It is also where we stand.

Building Together

Making something with peers who are open to real dialogue. Writing, design, experiments in governance — the form is open-ended. The work often crosses disciplines, touching on platform governance, queer infrastructure, digital rights, and the intersection of the erotic and technology.

We share years of governance trade-offs — and the platform design behind them — with communities and organizations facing similar pressures and conditions.

Lezismore remains anonymous; the purpose is to share the work, not build a personal brand.
For public events, remote audio is the default: no camera and no in-person appearance. Closed-door meetings are considered case by case. Photography and recording must be agreed in advance.

Fieldwork · Research

Ethical research may enter — once it clears these thresholds:

SPEC — THRESHOLDS

Apply in advance. State your purpose, your method, and your funding source.
For fieldwork, contact us first.
Follow the Guidelines on Sharing Community Governance Practice, Research Ethics, and Anonymization when citing.
No posting on anyone else's behalf. Whoever posts must be affiliated with the research institution and clearly identify themselves. A dedicated research account can be set up — contact us first.
Your privacy safeguards must be concrete. A single line saying "I'll keep everything confidential, promise" is not enough.

Over the years, surveys and interview calls in sociology, communication studies, public health, and gender studies have recruited participants through this community.

We cannot guarantee a response rate: the bubbles in this community decide for themselves whether to take part. The material here is not a public corpus — not for model training, not for scraping. Any analysis of it starts by clearing the thresholds above.

01Who you are

Institution (full name) required The full official name of the department, lab, company, or organization.

Principal investigator required Full name of the supervising professor, principal investigator, or project lead.

Contact person required

Email required Whenever possible, provide a verifiable institutional email address, such as one ending in .edu.tw.

02What you plan to do

Research or survey topic required

Reference link A link to the survey, the project page, or related published work. Provide a shareable link to your research proposal — this site does not accept file uploads.

03How you protect the people taking part

Privacy safeguards required Be specific: where the data is stored, who can access it, how long it is kept, how you de-identify it, and how quotations will appear when you publish. Not one line of "I'll keep everything confidential, promise."

Research ethics review Provide the approval number or current status of any IRB or research ethics review. If none applies to your project, explain why.

Participant compensation

Funding source Name any funder or commissioning organization.

04Which account you plan to post from in the Lezismore community

Surveys, research notices, and everything else posted here must be posted by you through a community account. Lezismore does not post on anyone else's behalf: another member cannot post your text or information for you, and Lezismore will not repost it for you. Once approved, you must post the survey or recruitment notice yourself, with clear attribution.

I already have a dedicated research account I do not have one yet; please help me set up a dedicated research account I plan to use my existing personal account

Before you choose: posting a research call from your personal account may connect your research identity with your usual activity in the Lezismore community. Other bubbles may follow that trail.
Everyone draws this privacy boundary differently. If you want to keep the two separate, choose the option above and we will help you set up a dedicated research account in your institution's name. Once activated, it can post immediately.

We read it through before replying. Replies may take time, but they are thoughtful.
